Leaburg Transportation Alternatives Analysis
With the decommissioning and eventual removal of Leaburg Dam, EWEB is working with Lane County Public Works (LCPW) to understand how to maintain access between Leaburg Dam Road and Highway 126.
Following a compettitive Request for Proposals bidding process, EWEB and LCPW chose to hire the engineering firm DOWL to prepare cost estimates for 8 options to provide a crossing over the McKenzie River. Parametrix is a subcontractor working with DOWL to prepare a Triple-Bottom-Line analysis of the impacts of each transportation alternative.
On May 5, 2025, DOWL and Parametrix presented the preliminary cost estimates of each alternative and laid out the Triple-Bottom-Line Framework and how community members could record their feedback.
