Employee Benefits

Paid Time Off

Holidays: EWEB offers 10 paid observed holidays, and 12 hours of floating holiday that employees may take at any time during the calendar year.  

Sick leave: All employees accrue 96 hours of sick leave annually or 3.69 hours bi-weekly; no maximum accrual or rollover.

Vacation: Full time individual contributor employees begin accruing 13 days per year of vacation or 3.89 hours bi-weekly, increasing with each year of service up to 25 years (pro-rated for part-time employees).

Management employees receive the following vacation accrual rates at the time of hire: 

  • Supervisors - 7 days per year (4.92 hours bi-weekly)
  • Managers - 10 days per year (5.38 hours bi-weekly)
  • Executives - 15 days per year (6.15 hours biweekly)



Core Benefits Package: Medical, Dental and Vision

EWEB offers a core benefit package with medical, prescription, dental, and vision coverage to employees and their eligible dependents. EWEB covers most of the premium costs, with employees contributing only 5 percent of their own premiums and 25 percent of the premiums for coverage for their eligible dependents. Medical insurance plans include a $150 deductible per family member, $2,000 max out-of-pocket (per family member, in-network), and $15 copay for office visits. Teladoc is a benefit provided to PacificSource members, allowing access to U.S. board-certified doctors 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, year-round.




Health Reimbursement and Flexible Spending Accounts


Flexible Spending Account (FSA)
Flexible Spending Accounts can be used to pay for IRS eligible expenses, including deductibles or coinsurance and out-of-pocket expenses for dependent childcare. Employees can elect to set aside pre-taxed money from their paycheck to pay for eligible expenses.

Health Reimbursement Account (HRA)
VEBA is a tax-free way to save for current and future health expenses. There is no “use it or lose it” requirement or maximum limit for this Health Reimbursement Account, which means the funds roll over from year to year. There are multiple ways for employees to earn and contribute money into their VEBA account.




Wellness and Fitness


Employee Wellness Program
Employees have the opportunity to participate in various wellness activities through our wellness program and earn up-to $750 towards their VEBA account each year!

Employee Assistance Program
The Employee Assistance Program at Cascade Behavioral Health offers confidential counseling and services to employees, their immediate family members, and members of their household.

Fitness Club Memberships
We are pleased to offer employees subsidized health and fitness club membership options with Elements Health Clubs. As a PacificSource member, employees also have access to Active and Fit Direct, a membership discount program.




Optional Benefits


Employees have the option to purchase expanded benefit plans that are designed to protect their family’s financial health. The following benefits offered through The Standard are voluntary and paid 100 percent by the employee through a payroll deduction:

Retirement Benefits


Our employees have a couple of retirement saving options - a voluntary savings plan through MissionSquare and a pension plan through PERS.

MissionSquare  has 50 years of helping public employees build retirement security through their 457 deferred compensation plans. They offer on-site and virtual one-on-one financial planning sessions with a registered MissionSquare representative.

Eligible employees will be enrolled in Tier I or II PERS or the Oregon Public Service Retirement Plan (OPSRP), based on their date of hire or previous established PERS membership. This is an employer-funded retirement plan.




Employer Paid Benefits


Life Insurance
Employee Life Insurance with coverage of 2.5x the employee’s annual salary. This includes Accidental Death and Dismemberment as well as limited coverage for dependents.

Disability Insurance
Short and Long Term Disability Insurance coverage at 60 percent of the employee’s weekly wages.
