Drinking Water Safe

There have been questions about the coronavirus (COVID-19) and the interface with drinking water. EWEB’s existing drinking water treatment protocols inactivate waterborne pathogens, including viruses, which prevents them from contaminating drinking water. Coronavirus Crisis Relief

EWEB is temporarily suspending service disconnections and late fees for customer non-payment during the coronavirus crisis. In addition to immediately putting a hold on electric disconnections and water service shut-offs for those who are behind on their utility bills, we are expanding bill assistance programs and implementing residential and commercial loan deferrals to help customers through the economic disruptions caused by the virus outbreak.
