Energy Efficiency Supplemental Incentive Boost

Questions?

Email our energy experts at ems.answers@eweb.org or call 541-685-7088 for more information and to get started.

EWEB understands that over the past several years, the price to purchase and install energy efficiency products that reduce energy waste has increased. This increase makes it difficult for many households to make these beneficial improvements. Energy efficiency updates can help save energy and lower utility bills. EWEB hopes the limited-time supplemental boost will help more customers invest in upgrading outdated systems.

Beginning April 1, EWEB customers who are looking to invest in energy efficiency upgrades may qualify for this supplemental incentive on ductless heat pumps, ducted heat pumps, and insulation installations. The incentive will double the standard EWEB rebate amount for these select programs.

Product Standard Rebate Energy Efficiency Supplemental Incentive
Ductless Heat Pump* $800 $1,600
Ducted Heat Pump $1,000 $2,000
Insulation $1/sq ft of insulation  $2/sq ft of insulation

This supplemental incentive will only be available until August 31, 2024, or until funds run out, whichever happens first. To qualify, projects must be completed by August 31, 2024, and the households’ combined income must fall within the income threshold.

*If applying for the supplemental incentive on a ductless heat pump, upgrades to your current DHP system are ineligible and your pre-existing heating system must be an electric resistance system.
