EWEB Run to Stay Warm Logo

Mark your calendars for the annual Run to Stay Warm on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010. The popular race will again include a half marathon, 10K, 5K and Kids 400M Dash.

All proceeds benefit EWEB's Customer Care Program to help income-eligible customers who are having difficulty paying their utility bills. More than 4,000 households are helped each year.

The course

The course begins at EWEB's River Edge Plaza, follows the paved bike paths along the beautiful Willamette River and ends back at EWEB.

Packet pickup

There will be two opportunities for packet pickup:

  • Friday, Nov. 19 — Noon-5:30 p.m. at EWEB
  • Saturday, Nov. 20 — 6:30-8:30 a.m.
Chip timing

EWEB's Run to Stay Warm offers chip race timing to provide the quickest, most accurate race results for all participants.

Shirts

Register by November 17 to guarantee a dry-fit tech shirt. Shirts are $15 each and will be available at packet pickup.

Awards

Prizes are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers and to age division winners in each race. All half-marathon finishers receive a finisher award. The top walkers and wheelchair participants in the 5K and 10K receive awards. All kids participating in the 400M Dash receive a medal and goodie bag. Random prize drawings are held for all participants.

Sleep in to Stay Warm

Donations to the Customer Care Program are welcome for those not participating in the event. To donate to Customer Care, call EWEB at (541) 685-7000.
