If you're interested in energy efficiency and high performance green building, we can help!
We can help you make cost-effective design decisions and provide on-site inspection and testing services so your home can earn an Energy Performance Score (EPSTM). We can also provide information and help if you want to receive ENERGY STAR®, Earth Advantage®, LEED® for Homes, or Passive House certification. The end result will be a home or building that is more efficient, comfortable, healthy, and durable.
Building homes that include above-code energy efficiency features along with certifications deliver the following important benefits:
Along with rebates, we provide the following free services:
Plan review. Our specialists review building plans to make sure the proposed design meets program requirements.
Consultation. We provide technical and educational support to builders and subcontractors.
On-site inspections and verification for EPS and Earth Advantage. Our certified energy rater inspects your project on-site throughout the construction process and collects all of the information needed to earn an EPS with or without Earth Advantage Certification.
Performance testing. We test each home with a blower door to measure whole-house air leakage. Your heating contractor will perfrom any necessary duct testing and heat pump commissioning.
Certification. When we confirm standards are met at the end of the construction process, you and the builder receive certificates showing the home meets certification requirements.
