Calendar of events
As a citizen-owned utility, the Eugene Water & Electric Board participates in many community
activities, events and special programs.
Below is a schedule of EWEB-related events scheduled
for 2012 that help make Eugene a great place to live. Check back frequently for updates as dates
are subject to change.

- Feb. 1: Breakfast of Energy Champions for residential and
commercial contractors and other guests, 8-10 a.m., EWEB's North Building, 500 E. Fourth Ave., Eugene.
Learn about changes to the State's residential and business energy tax credits from representatives
from the Oregon Department of Energy. EWEB's energy experts will also offer info about how contractors
can help customers save energy and money.
- Feb. 6: – This lively event brings
together local farmers, ranchers and fishermen with area food buyers –
supporting and sustaining our local food supply system. Workshops showcase hot
topics and new data in the local food arena. Table displays, networking and luncheon.

- Feb. 8: Financial Analysis for
Commercial Buildings, presented by Energy Trust of Oregon and EWEB, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.,
EWEB's North Building, 500 E. 4th Ave., Eugene. Apply the principles of financial analysis to assess the value of
capital improvement projects for commercial buildings. Free seminar to include discussion of real-world examples and
hands-on exercises.
