The Eugene Water & Electric Board conducts backflow assembly tester and cross-connection
specialist certification trainings for contractors and individuals.
Registration for these courses must be completed
a minimum of 10 days prior to the class start date.

Note: The State of Oregon will require documentation showing one year of experience in water systems or plumbing
for cross-connection specialist certification. A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is required by the state
of Oregon for gaining tester or specialist certifications.
*For Calibration Day, please drop off gauge(s) on Thursday, Feb. 13, from 11 a.m. to noon or 3 to 4 p.m. The
drop off point is the main entrance of EWEB's operations center, 4200
Roosevelt Boulevard. After calibration, gauges will be available for pick-up on Friday, Feb. 14, from 1 to 4 p.m.
The price is $40 per gauge for those who have attended EWEB training in 2012-13,
or $65 per gauge for those who have not. Payment is due when gauge(s) are dropped off. Make checks payable to Ray Johnson.
