Limited-income assistance
Weatherizing your home can help significantly reduce utility bills, but may be difficult when money is tight.
EWEB's Weatherization Plus program provides income-qualified
customers with financial assistance for installing insulation and other energy-saving improvements.
To be eligible, you must:
- Be an EWEB customer
- Rent or own a home or apartment with electric heat
- Meet income guidelines (see table below)
It's easy:
- Determine if you meet the income guidelines
- Call EWEB's Energy Management Services department at (541) 685-7000 to apply
If you qualify, EWEB may need to schedule an energy audit to identify what type of weatherization is needed and
the level of available assistance. If you rent, EWEB will obtain the owner's consent to weatherize.
Below you will find the income guidelines for limited-income assistance (effective Oct. 1, 2011, to
Sept. 30, 2012). Assistance is based on household income and size. The guidelines are based
