EWEB estimates customers will have power restored by 8 p.m.

Eugene Water & Electric Board repair crews have restored power to all but approximately 21 customers in the McKenzie River area east of Springfield. The majority of these remaining customers are in the Thurston Road area.

EWEB expects that by 8 p.m., all customers who have reported an outage and do not need additional work from an electrician should have electricity.

Customers who do not have power after that time are encouraged to call EWEB’s 24-hour outage reporting line at (541) 484-2300.

EWEB initially had about 3,500 customers without electricity following Sunday’s strong wind storm.
