Utility work to close Bethel Drive at Bell

A Eugene Water & Electric Board construction crew will close Bethel Drive at Bell Street starting Wednesday at 8 a.m. to install a large, underground electric vault.

Drivers seeking to access Bethel Drive south of Bell Street should enter off of Roosevelt Boulevard. Those seeking access to Oakshire Brewing, the American Red Cross and other businesses north of Bell Street should enter Bethel Drive from Highway 99.

The crew will allow access to Bell Street from Roosevelt Boulevard only.

The closure will last until about 5 p.m. Wednesday
