Pressure washing to cause delays crossing Leaburg Dam

The Eugene Water & Electric Board will intermittently close the bridge across its Leaburg Dam on Feb. 17 and Feb. 18 as crews pressure wash the gate houses on the dam.

The pressure washing will begin on Thursday at about 7 a.m. and conclude at about 5 p.m. If necessary, crews return to finish the job at 7 a.m. Friday.

During the work, crews occasionally will restrict vehicle access across the bridge. Motorists can expect delays of up to 30 minutes during the intermittent closures.
