Two commissioners to hold Town Hall meeting

Eugene Water & Electric Board Commissioners Rich Cunningham and John Brown will hold a Town Hall meeting on Wednesday (April 29) to hear from EWEB customers and answer questions about issues of interest.

The meeting will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the American Red Cross, 862 Bethel Drive. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Cunningham represents Wards 6 and 7, which include the Bethel, Danebo, River Road, Santa Clara, Whiteaker and downtown areas of Eugene; Brown is the “at large” representative on the elected board.

EWEB staff will give short presentations on the Roosevelt Operations Center and Seneca biomass power-purchase project. The commissioners then will take questions from the audience.
