Henry Masterson is resigning from the EWEB Board of Commissioners.

Masterson said he would leave the elected board no later than June 16 for unspecified personal reasons. He was appointed in March 2003 to represent Wards 6 and 7. He announced his resignation in a letter to EWEB President Patrick Lanning.

Masterson replaced Sandra Bishop, who was elected in 2002 to a four-year term as EWEB's at-large representative. Bishop had represented Wards 6 and 7 since 1997.

Once Masterson officially leaves the board, the four remaining members will have 90 days to select a replacement. The Ward 6 and 7 term expires at the end of 2004.
