OPPORTUNITY FOR VIDEO AND PHOTOS OF EWEB'S FIBER OPTIC NETWORK CONSTRUCTION When: Thursday, September 2 at 10:30 a.m. Where: Jefferson Substation, 15th & Jefferson Who: EWEB Fiber Optics Project Manager Ken Beeson will be available to answer questions Details: We will meet at the Jefferson substation, where the reel of fiber optic cable is located and from there, meet the construction crews and see how they "blow" fiber into underground conduit. This is part of the loop that crosses downtown Eugene. After that, those who would like to get footage or photos of overhead construction on existing utility poles can visit a site in west Eugene.
