Board Members Present: Patrick Lanning, Ron Farmer, Sandra Bishop, and Dorothy Anderson.

President Lanning called the Special Board Meeting of the Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) order at 5:30 p.m.

BOARD INTERVIEWS

President Lanning and Commissioners discussed the withdrawal of Board candidate John Simpson due to the re-distribution of boundaries for Wards 6 & 7. Mr. Simpson was now in Ward 8, and could not be considered for Commissioner for these wards.

Commissioner Anderson moved, seconded by Vice President Farmer, to appoint Melvin Menegat to the Ward 6 & 7 position.

Commissioner Bishop indicated that Charles Fee would also make a good Commissioner. She said that he had good qualities and would bring a fresh perspective to the Board.

The motion passed, 4:0 to appoint Melvin Menegat to the Ward 6 & 7 position.

The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
