BUSINESS SERVICE AGREEMENTS

  1. North Creek Analytical - Drinking Water Source Protection Monitoring - Environmental Management - Corporate Services. A competitive quote was conducted to select a contractor to provide analytical services for the drinking water source protection monitoring effort. The solicitation was performed in accordance with all public bidding requirements. It is structured as a unit price contract and will be used on an "as needed" basis. Staff requests authorization to award a contract to North Creek Analytical for these services through May 31, 2003. The estimated usage of the contract during this term is $28,202. Funds are included in the 2002/03 budget. Contact person is Karl Morgenstern, Drinking Water Source Protection Coordinator, at 341-8552.

  2. Account Temps - Customer Services - Customer Services Division. Contract labor used for credit card transactions, mail opening and payment processing through December 31, 2002. With the advent of lock box and process improvement efficiencies, this work may be absorbed in 2003 and done by regular employees. Amount of contract is $35,000.   3. Northwest Youth Corp - Water Division. For the removal of trash and brush from EWEB's water reservoir sites and other small removal and "clean-up" work. This Agreement was originally entered into on June 19, 2001 and was amended November 27, 2001 to extend the term of the contract through December 31, 2002. Pricing for the work is established in the contract. The original Contract amount was for $18,000. We need to amend this contract to add an additional $5,000 in order to complete debris removal work scheduled for the remainder of this season. Total contract not-to-exceed amount would be increased to $23,000. Contact Steve Solberg, 484-2411, ext. 3930.

  4. University of Oregon - Solar Resources - Energy Management Services - Customer Services. The annual extension of contract with the University of Oregon for Eugene and Regional Solar Radiation and Meteorological Data Monitoring for the 07/01/02-06/30/03 project year. Project is co-sponsored with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA) and the Northwest Power Planning Council (NWPPC). Continuation of activity is included in Energy Resource Strategy 2000 (as adopted by the Board), and is being budgeted for in 2003. Maintaining current contractor is desirable to assure continuity and quality of data collection, analysis, archival, and reporting. Contract renewal is for $25,000.
