    REQUEST FOR DONATION

  2. University of Oregon, Sustainable Business Symposium. Request for $5,000 to bring Amory Lovins to Eugene. EWEB donates $2000 annually to sponsor the Sustainable Business Symposium at the University of Oregon. That donation will continue. In a letter to Dorothy Anderson on July 20, 2001, Adam Zimmerman, coordinator for this year's Symposium, requested an additional $10,000 from EWEB to bring Amory Lovins, co-author of Natural Capitalism, to the symposium. EWEB Staff recommends providing $5000 in addition to the regular $2000 donation. Adam Zimmerman says that $5000 would be greatly appreciated and that Amory Lovins will be able to attend with that amount being donated by EWEB. EWEB staff will work with the Symposium to design the special two-hour session with Mr. Lovins here at EWEB on November 9th.
