- Minutes of the June 19, 2001 Work Session and Regular Board
Meeting
- Oregon Environmental Council - 2001/2002 Forums for
Business and the Environment - General Manager's Division.
The programs provides an opportunity for business
and environmental leaders to come together at events throughout
the year to learn about and discuss environmental policy concerns
in a non-threatening setting. The Forum promotes understanding,
community spirit and consensus, and helps build more productive,
long- term relationships between environmental and business
leaders. The sponsorship includes complimentary passes to each
event and recognition in all Forum promotional materials. EWEB has
sponsored this for the past several years. Cost for sponsorship is
$2,500 for the 2001/2002 calendar year. Contact person is Randy

BUSINESS SERVICES AGREEMENTS
- Cable Huston Benedict Haagensen and Lloyd - Legal Services
for Leaburg-Walterville Relicensing - Electric Division.
Due to the extent of the negotiations of a
settlement agreement with the National Marine Fisheries Service
and United States Fish and Wildlife Service regarding the
Leaburg-Walterville License, it is necessary to increase this
contract amount up to the full 2001 budget amount to finalize the
settlement. Amount of contract is $25,000. Contact person is Gale
Banry, 484-2411, ext. 3413.
- Gail Greely - Leaburg-Walterivlle Relicensing - Electric
Division. Due to the dispute over EWEB's
Leaburg-Wlaterville License, Ms. Greely has been assisting staff
with regulatory and legal assistance to reach an equitable
settlement with the National Marine Fisheries Service and Unted
States Fish and Wildlife Service. This amendment will increase her
contract amount up to the 2001 budget amount. Amount of the
contract is $35,000. Contact person is Gale Banry, 484-2411, ext.
3413.
LOAD CURTAILMENT CONTRACTS
- The following companies have changed
participation in the Load Curtailment Program. Agreements with
these customers under the Forward Price Calculation Method are
being canceled by EWEB and the customers desire to stay in the
Load Curtailment Program under the Actual Market Price Calculation
method. They are:

- University of Oregon Main Campus
- University of Oregon Athletics
- Lane Community College
- Trus Joist
