Relicensing timetable

Sahalie FallsThe Federal Energy Regulatory Commission has established a three-stage Traditional Licensing Process to ensure that all appropriate entities and the public are consulted prior to issuing a new license.

However, in order to meet its objectives for sharing information and involving stakeholders in the process, EWEB is taking additional steps beyond what is required in the Traditional Licensing Process.

Agency and public consultation October 2003 to November 2006
Scoping of studies to conduct  October 2003 to early 2004
Conduct necessary studies Early 2004 to early 2006
Submit water quality permit application Nov. 29, 2006
Submit Draft License Application May 11, 2006
Develop Final License Application Nov. 30, 2006
