EWEB to hold public meeting on septic system project

McKenzie River Valley residents are invited to the second of two informational meetings on Tuesday, May 13, to learn about the Eugene Water & Electric Board's new septic system assistance project.

The meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the McKenzie River Mountain Resort (the old Blue River Ranger Station).

The meeting will include a project overview, participation requirements and details about how to sign up. EWEB staff and A&B Septic will be on-hand to answer questions.

EWEB’s Septic System Assistance Project is a voluntary program for homeowners living in “high risk areas” to protect the excellent water quality of the McKenzie River by offering free septic system inspections and pump-outs for qualifying systems.
