New customer information
Welcome to the Eugene Water & Electric Board. Our aim is to help you become familiar with your public
utility and the services we provide.
As a public utility, EWEB does not operate to earn a profit or to serve the investment
needs of stockholders. Instead, EWEB is chartered by the city of Eugene to serve
the interests of its citizens. You, therefore, are an owner of the utility. Read about the benefits of a community-owned
utility.
A five-member Board of Commissioners, elected
by the citizens of Eugene, governs the utility and makes all major decisions.
Our primary mission is to provide you with reliable power, clean and safe drinking water, and excellent
customer service. We also offer a number of other related services and products that mirror our
customer-owners' values and desires.
