Rich Cunningham
Rich Cunningham represents Wards 6 and 7 (Bethel, Danebo, Whittaker, Trainsong area). He was
elected to the Board in November 2008 and took office in January 2009.
Rich and his wife Sherry are the parents of six children: Michael, Richard III, Marissa, Stacey,
Valerie and Robert. They also have two grandchildren, Auston and Kennadie.
Rich has lived in the Bethel/Danebo area for 12 years and has been very active in the community.
Rich worked as an insurance broker and sales manager for almost 25 years before becoming disabled
due to a medical condition several years ago. He has been a local high school baseball and
softball coach. After having served four years on the Bethel School District Budget Committee,
Rich was elected in May 2011 to the Bethel School Board.
Rich's main interests as an EWEB commissioner are protecting the utility infrastructure,
maintaining the current quality of our water supply, developing a secondary water source and
delivering EWEB services at a fair and equitable cost for everyone.
