Business Energy Tax Credit lives on!
After a difficult budget session in the State legislature, the State of Oregon will continue to offer a business energy tax credit (BETC). The BETC typically covers 35 percent of the cost of an energy-efficiency project. Investing in efficiency makes sense, and EWEB incentives coupled with the BETC means that you can save energy in your business with very little investment. There are also pass-through options that make the benefits of BETC available to non-profit organizations or government entities.

For help in identifying an energy-efficiency project that qualifies for the tax credit, contact EWEB’s energy experts at 484-1125 today. For more information on the BETC, check out the Oregon Office of Energy web site.
