With help from our Smart Growth Programs, the Eugene Country Club recently switched from a natural gas boiler to a clean, efficient electric heat pump system that will reduce the County Club’s HVAC carbon emissions by 95% and shave off thousands of dollars in annual operating expenses.

EV Curious? You’re Not Alone.

In our area, it will cost you $3.41 to go 100 miles in an electric vehicle, compared to $12.16 in a gas-powered car. Tax credits sweeten the deal. In addition to the existing $2,500-$7,500 federal tax credit, the State of Oregon’s new rebate of up to $2,500 will go into effect in 2018.
