EWEB: Preparing for the next century

View special section appearing in the Register-Guard (pdf).

Since its beginnings 95 years ago, the Eugene Water & Electric Board has looked to the future rather than dwelling on the past.

This year, as EWEB commemorates its 95th anniversary as a citizen-owned municipal utility, a number of initiatives are under way that will shape its future. This special section honors EWEB’s past but also provides some valuable information about these important initiatives, from efforts to relocate EWEB’s non-headquarters facilities to relicensing of the Carmen-Smith Hydroelectric Project.
