Reading your bill
Your Eugene Water & Electric Board statement provides useful information concerning your utility services.
In addition to the amount you owe, your bill offers detailed current and historical usage information, a message box
and opportunities for you to provide feedback to your public utility.
Below, many of your bill features are explained.
Boxes at top of bill
These boxes provide a quick review of charges, payments, due dates and your account number.
Current Charge Summary
This gives you an abbreviated look at your utility services for the billing period.
Message box
Check the message each month for helpful information about EWEB products, services and events.
Electric Detail
This section of your statement provides detailed information that will allow you to evaluate your energy usage and costs. A bar chart provides historical information.
Credit card boxes
If you are paying your bill by credit card, please fill out this section. Use the boxes to fill in your card number, and please make sure to include the expiration date of your card and your signature. If you already have signed up for monthly credit card payment, you do not need to fill out this section.
Water Detail
On the second page of most statements is detailed information about your water consumption for the billing period. A bar chart provides historical water usage information.
Additional Services
This section highlights other utility services, such as loans, rebates, Customer Care donations and other special programs.
City of Eugene Charges
EWEB acts as the billing agent for wastewater and stormwater services provided by the City of Eugene. These are not EWEB charges. If you have questions concerning wastewater and stormwater charges, please call the City of Eugene phone number provided in this section of your billing statement.
